I checked the Studentenportal for any information regarding if a handwritten cheat sheet or non programmable calculator are allowed to be used in the exam, but found no information. Neither did I find a Mail address to contact anyone in charge of the course to ask the question, so I hope I can get an answer here.

Also, in what room and at what time does the exam even take place? The KIS entry for the exam lists 3 different rooms and a 3:30 hour time span

As in previous years, we allow for the exam a non-programmable pocket calculator and a cheat sheet (DIN A4 size, both sides usable, printed or handwritten). The duration of the exam is also as usual planned for 120 minutes, but we need additional time for organizational matters.

In KIS, there are two rooms listed and a time span of 3 hours, at least I can see the following (please double-check):

  • Di (25.08.2026), 08:00 - 11:00, 46-215
  • Di (25.08.2026), 08:00 - 11:00, 42-115

As you may have seen in the student portal, we plan a question&answer session on Tuesday, August 11 at 15:00, where we want to discuss further questions before sending out an email with the final information about the exam.

In particular, that email will determine which students are assigned to which rooms, and when the exam will start.
