I have a question regarding Omega-Automata in the 2023 Exam (screenshot attached). While I grasp the acceptance and initial conditions, I am unsure about the transitions. How do we determine the next stage and why do we use "*" as an input?

Not really sure what you mean, but "*" is just a wildcard that abbreviates every input, right?
